8. Much Ado About Nothing

Much Ado About Nothing
Directed by Joss Whedon

Shakespeare’s classic comedy with a spin. Shot in just 12 days, the story of sparring lovers Beatrice and Benedick offers a dark, sexy and occasionally absurd view of the intricate game of love. Joss Whedon gathered a buch of friends, TV actors mostly, and shot this movie in his own LA house. His casual approach works amazingly well. This might be the best Shakespeare’s comedy on film.
